Isn't the point of the haka to show your energy and aggression, less a warm-up than a symbolic display of the prowess to be unleashed in the comming contest? So if you pat your thighs a few times and mutter something half-heartedly... The opposing team is more likely to feel disgust than respect. If you don't have the energy to freak the opposition out before you've even begun to tap your keg, then you don't have the energy to be the kind of AB New Zealand dreams of.

I was born in 1981 and have lived here since 1984, so I am a kiwi when it comes to the crunch. However rugby....just doesn't cut it for me nowdays. Don't get me wrong I love going to Eden Park or the cake tin in Welly for a good game...but all these new rules they have in place have ruined it.

No longer are the AB's feared on the pitch like back in the days of Buck, Kirwan, Wetton...etc. They would smack on the field and on the points board. Money has ruined it like football in Europe. No heart is played for country and passion for the game. Instead the fat salary and endorsements.

Ruined...totally ruined. That aside I'd move home any day to black for Newcastle United. Get payed a stupid amount of pounds to kick a leather ball around....call me a pansy, poof whatever you like. With 30 odd million pound a year, I don't care lmao *sighs*. Back to $42k a year
